Polish Paper Cutting (45-60min)

Traditional paper cuts, Wycinanki, adorned Polish village homes for many years dating back to the first half of the 19th century. The walls and ceilings of home interiors were white washed and decorated with intricate colored paper cut outs glued on their surface. Each region of Poland has developed its own unique designs, color schemes and folding/cutting techniques featuring animals, plants and geometric motives.
